SBA Opens Business Recovery Center at the Sonoma County Economic Development Board Offices

Santa Rosa,CA | November 01, 2017

SANTA ROSA, Calif. –For Immediate Release –  The U.S. Small Business Administration opened a Business Recovery Center at the Sonoma County Economic Development Board, in partnership with the City of Santa Rosa. The office is located at 141 Stony Circle, Suite 155, Santa Rosa at The Courtyard building.  The hours will be from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday.

SBA representatives at the Center can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and assist businesses in completing the SBA loan application. "The SBA Business Recovery Center at the Sonoma County Economic Development Board will assist our local companies in their recovery from the recent wildfires," said Ben Stone, Executive Director at the Sonoma County Economic Development Board.

"I want to thank the Napa-Sonoma Small Business Development Center, the City of Santa Rosa and the County of Sonoma for hosting the team from the U.S. Small Business Administration, we hope to create an efficient and effective one-stop operation for local businesses to get the assistance they need to recover from the wildfires."

The SBA offers low-interest, long-term disaster loans for physical damage, working capital, and economic injury. The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Dec. 11, 2017. The deadline to return economic injury applications is July 12, 2018. 

Additional information on the disaster loan program may be obtained by calling SBA's Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955, (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
