Health is a demonstrated priority for Sonoma County Residents when looking at health metrics relative to state and regional averages. Uninsured residents have been on a steep decline for the past decade and compared to similar regions, Sonoma County adults report low rates of fair/poor health.

Health measures the general well-being of our community. These metrics include count of overweight or obese adults, student fitness standards, births to teenage mothers, top causes of death, health status, and percentage of uninsured residents.
