Sample the Best of Sonoma County

Tourism-Gustafson-Winery-300-300

We invite you to come and explore Sonoma County which offers a world class travel experience with a diversity of landscapes and recreational opportunities to make your stay unforgettable. Sonoma County was named the number one wine destination in the United States and second in the world by Trip Advisor in 2012, the world’s largest travel website.

Sonoma County is unique among other wine-growing regions in both size and topography. It boasts a beautiful coastline, along with mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes and forests. This landscape inspires the soul—and offers plenty of fun. Whether it’s a stroll through a vineyard, a bike ride through our scenic country backroads, or a canoe ride down the Russian River, whatever you want to do, you can do it here! And after you work up a thirst hiking through Armstrong Woods ancient grove of Redwoods you can quench your thirst at any one of a number of well-known local craft breweries, cideries or spirit makers that have made Sonoma County their home. Afterwards you can dine out at one of our many local restaurants who offer locally sourced products in a farm-to-table experience unique to Sonoma County.
